This is so true.

I've lost count on the number of times I've seen a Commodore in the rear view Mirror weaving through traffic, and tearing up beside me, before revving their car and taking off.

I've only had mine for a couple of weeks, but here in Adelaide all the half a dozen or so Mustang drivers that I've driven past have given me a friendly wave or thumbs up, love it!

Cool conversation in the daycare carpark the other day - older gentleman come up to the kids and I as we're getting out the of the car and tells me how much he likes it. Then tells me about how he worked for Tickford when they were converting SN97s to RHD for Ford Australia and how he travelled to the US to see the Ford factory and to get the programme up and running. He also told me how he doesn't really regard the current iteration of Tickford as any relation to the company he worked for! Ha. He was a nice chap.

I have only had my Mustang 2 months but every week I get a car pull along side and the driver or his mate give me a thumbs up. I also get a friendly wave from other mustang owners all the time. Can't get the smile off my face!

A neighbour from a couple of doors down who has never spoken to me in the many years we've lived near one another (except the occasional wave hello) made a beeline straight over yesterday when he spotted the Stang out the front being washed.

Ah Mustang... bringing neighbours together for a pow wow, just like the good old days

Took the 'Stang for a drive yesterday down to Normanville, as I was driving down South Road I had a bunch of primary school kids pointing and waving excitedly as they waited to cross the road. Gotta love it

I had the subcontinental console operator at the Kirrawee Caltex ask me the very same question a while back.

Had ours for about three months. The thing that surprises me is that both sexes and every age seem to love it. Unique for a mass produced car I'm guessing.
