  1. Shockworks and Camber Plates

I have Shockworks Coilovers and have had -2.5 on the front and -2 on the rear since January. Doesn’t kill insides of the tyres too badly and stops the scrubbing of the sidewalls on track days and hard road cornering. No camber plates to get that as mentioned above.
  2. tyre imports

It must but it isn’t noticeable. The Pirelli’s were right on the wear limit and I would imagine there is negligible difference to a worn out 275/40 19 to a new 295/35 19. I might put a tape measure around it and compare to the old ones which I still have as spares. All brands are different...
  3. tyre imports

I was after 305/19's and gave up in the end. I went with 295/35 19 Contisportcontact 6 and was surprised that they fill the guard completely. I am running P51 19 X 11 rear and 19 X 10 wheels on the front and this tyre is very square. The shop said he was surprised how big they were as he has...
  4. 2017 BMW M140i(auto) to a 2018 GT Mustang(auto)?

Hired a 2018 10 speed auto in the US recently and it is quick. In sport mode the gearbox is fantastic it will drop 4 or 5 gears instantly under full throttle. There is not a lot of difference in power between ours and the US version this time either. As for suspension it is hard to know as it...
  5. What did you do to your Aussie S550 today..

Is that from Mestengo? Was talking to him about the radiator cover today.
  6. MY2018 in the flesh

How much extra are the forged wheels I was thinking of getting them for my 17 at one stage but really want 10 and 11 inch wide, pretty sure the 18 forged are narrower.
  7. BULLITT

I don’t think this is really true I think Ford Aus is just lazy and wants simple orders. We did a factory tour in April and left and right hand drive cars come down the line together and depending on the order the parts come along at the precise time they are needed depending on the build sheet...
  8. runout 17's

I drove a 2018 GT Auto convertible in the US for a day in April and all I can say is the 10 Speed auto is fantastic. In sport mode it is very responsive and fun. If you are looking at an auto and can wait a bit then the 2018 is the way to go. I’ve got a manual GT here so can’t comment on how...
  9. What did you do to your Aussie S550 today..

    Mystangmods.com.au maybe?
  10. Oil cooler failure - first hand experiences?

I tend to agree with the idea of replacing the oil cooler myself when I am out of warranty. I don’t want to hassle of trying to get a new engine even though we have a very supportive dealer. Maybe in some eyes it is wasted money but I don’t want a failure as I may be without the car when I have...
  11. Oil cooler failure - first hand experiences?

Would be interesting to hear what is considered a hard time for a 5.0 litre engine that revs to 7000 rpm. It’s a bloody performance car and the issue happens on right hand drive cars. Do they think all the right hand drive cars are flogged harder than the US cars you see doing track days on you...
  12. What did you do to your Aussie S550 today..

I like your Trufibre the centre intake is nice and low and different to most others and I like the heat vents. I've got a Carbon Anderson Composites GTH coming and it will be painted rather than natural Carbon.
  13. Anderson Composites CF hood - pins, or no pins?

I’ve ordered the same and was looking to see what people say. The Australian supplier says yes and has Shelby hood pins on his but I want to go Quik Latch also. I was thinking the QL38 but not sure if they need a larger surface area than that? Might be worth contacting Anderson Composites...
  14. Oil cooler failure - first hand experiences?

The ACCC went Ford on the Focus issue because of a class action by the public and Ford not helping people who had faulty Powershift gearboxes. These were Fords dry clutch DSG box. I know a couple of people who are in the class action and lost a lot of money selling their cars to get out of them.
  15. Who is upgrading to a 2018

It’s a crap article, compared the US Camaro and Mustang and made up rubbish performance figures.
  16. Mustang for Supercars next year

Will be interesting to see how they look as the have to have a raised roofline to fit the Supercars profile.
  17. BULLITT

Hi Guys We did the Flatrock plant tour with Hammo a couple of days ago and saw a few Bullets in the yard ready for shipping. The plant manager said nearly every one she has seen come off the line line has been right hand drive too but not sure if they are euro right hand drives or Aus bound...
  18. Who is upgrading to a 2018

I like the handbrake on the left it’s out of the way of my thigh when you I’m cruising long distances. I tend to lean my leg on the console when I’m not pushing the clutch. My Skoda has it there too. It isn’t like you have to lean across to reach it it’s more like turning your arm 5 degrees to...
  19. Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger

They had a whole container of Edelbrock stuff turn up yesterday but he wont know until next week if they were in the shipment. They didn’t have any prior to now so once I know I will post it. They are planned though so they will be available here.
  20. Dyno results?

Very hard to compare from Dyno to Dyno but I have dynoed mine at two places with other Stangs on social dyno days. I have a 5 litre manual with Hurst Catback and K&N drop in filter. I’ve got 269 kW at one place and 264 kW at another. For comparison there was a guy with a box stock auto that...
