Car got hit today while sitting at a red light

Sucks, been there! That's a bad spot because it's part of the unibody, so must be repaired vs. swapping a front wing :(

There is no damage to the Suspension, or IRS. No mechanical damage all body damage. I'm an Auto Technician (ASE Master and Toyota Expert) I put the car on the alignment rack and my lift right after the accident and the alignment was still perfect and nothing was damaged. She didn't hit the tire at all because she was on the concrete median when she hit me which rose the front of her car enough to miss the tire. I drove the car for a week before it went the body shop.

So I was on my way to work this morning, stopped at a red light to turn left at 4 way intersection. Im in the south position waiting to turn. A lady comes from the east position turning left and her car loses traction and the back end fishtails she jumps the median and hits right above my rear wheel. Preliminary estimate is just over 7K

I feel your pain... :(

Yes, He was drilling out the spot welds when I went to see the car. If you look in the pics you can see where some of the spot welds are drilled out.

That's good, they sure went through a lot of trouble trying to straighten that piece out if it was being replaced from the start.

Car should be going into paint tomorrow and I should have it back hopefully this weekend, but most likely middle of next week.

Car is really looking good, Should have it back Monday afternoon. They still have to polish it and do final assembly. Really happy with the roof and rear bumper. Cant wait to get it back.
