did you not like it?
I'm picky as hell with my exhaust sound (ask my wallet) and also have a couple of other exhaust components I need to put up for sale but I found it popped too much for my liking.

Having said that, I likely didn't give it enough time to mellow out and I don't want to bother swapping my current setup back and forth as the Magnaflow tips are a royal PITA to line up evenly (why they don't use softer metal on the hangers so we can adjust ourselves is beyond me ...).

got it... I think most of these exhausts take about 1-2k of driving before they settle in..thanks..

Agreed. Took me four iterations to be happy.
This would be my 3rd try with the resonator....guess I should try it otherwise I will always be wondering...

I just ordered a Borla Touring for my car. Great pricing through Beefcake. My MBRP's are too loud and raspy for my taste. They also drone on the highway.

Had the Borla Touring Catback installed today.
Deep and smooth tone.
Mild volume increase and no drome.
This is what the factory stock system should have sounded like.
Very happy with this procduct.
Would highly recommend.

I just installed mine (thanks beefcake !)

I am noticing quite a bit of drone around 2-5k only when stepping on the gas, guessing it needs to break in a bit?

Wondering if the X-pipe would help with that since it seems the noise is coming from the center of the car.

I have experienced the same thing unfortunately... I have the S type with the X pipe and the in-cabin noise is quite pronounced. I don't know if you can really classify it as drone, but it is an unpleasant resonance that some people seem to be more sensitive to or effected by....It is not in every case it seems...

Yes it was me. I did not know it was you though.

I may be able to pick it up soon if everything is alright with the price?:headbang:

I installed the GT350 Sport exhaust when the car was delivered and after installing the longtube headers w/out cats, a few months later, I had to soften the sound and raspiness after some negative attention from the local authorities. The Borla resonator was a perfect fit and required no cutting which will allow the x-pipe to be re-installed. The raspiness is gone and a nice deep tone without any drone makes driving great!

Is the borla resonator 2.5" in and out? Anyone know if crosses internally like an X or H?
Yes, like the entire system, the resonator diameter is 2.5", both in and out.
The resonator is an H-pipe design.
You will love the sound.

Thanks, it will be that or a magnaflow dual in/out when I finally pull the resonator.
