This is actually a pretty good point. The GT get's ~ 20% worse fuel economy than the ecoboost (highway). 93 octane in my neck of the woods is ~ %20 more expensive than 87 octane. So while you will get better fuel economy, you'll be spending about the same on fuel for the GT. :headbonk:Honestly,
The gas savings becomes insignificant once you start putting 93 in the Ecoboost, while the GT performs as well on 87 as on 93.
I myself do regret getting the Ecoboost, but not willing to take a big hit with the trade in just yet.
