Any 9 second Whipple cars using a factory transmission?

Has anyone seen a 9 second pass yet out of their Whipple on the factory Auto/Manual Transmission?

What size pulley? 91/93 octane? Race Gas? E85?

Factory Exhaust or Aftermarket? Factory Headers?

Nitrous?

I'm just curious what it takes to run 9's on this blower.

Built Motor @ 944whp.

Ah....this is the car with the 11-14 Engine Swap + ECU I heard about.

9.49 @ 145 is solid.

The shift to 5th is what kills the mph. The built motor is because this car broke the timing gear.

True, looked over the fact it was an MT-82 car. That's a solid timeslip.

Push it is the key word that I am afraid off. it seems the turbo platforms get to the 9sec stock motor/trans much easier

Pushing it means much more than just a power adder. You have to complete the build.

A solid BMR suspension foundation along with bushings.
Drag wheels and tires
Half shafts and driveshaft
Decent fuel and tune (Return Fuel System for 700+ E85) or race gas + boost-a-pump
Oil pump and timing gears (7700 RPM Shift Points)

Much easier in an auto but if you have a manual you will also need a clutch. And the manual is not nearly as robust as the auto.
I think with a PD blower the stock converter will get you there.

we went 9s our second trip out with the vortech centri

heinz was going 9s as soon as he put sticky tires on

and the centri hits the trans rear easier than anything out there

but all of the kits really are nice and can get you there.
