This is good to hear. I recently purchased a gt350 and have A Whipple coming. My calculations say on E50 and ID1000 I have enough pump. I am going to try this route and see.
Its the cost of Parts simpe enough !! As others have stated you can get the sprocket for $100 or less. It breaks the most.
If you cant do it than obviously you have to pay for labor. I only charge 700 labor on 18 and 600 on earlier models. IF you are doing package pricing its less.
If new gt500 has the same damper as 18 then we will have an answer. On the 15+ coyotes they have smaller timing chains. Most of the time the crank gear cracks on the key way. If you ever hold one look how thin it is on the key way. Now understand its spinning 7800 and is only a $100 part. Why...
Not on a 18 yet but I have seen 3 sets fail and one timing gear on 15-17. They are the same as Gen2 coyote.
I dont see it anymore because I just make it part of build. I know its a crap shoot but why risk everything over $250 part.
I de-tune daily....with my right foot. I drive around with very minimal suspension mods on drag radials with 700+ pretty easy. The right set up goes a long way.
I don't think stock rails will be an issue at 850ish. With DI helping by 20% it should be fine. There are a couple ways to do it with one regulator. I would set it at 58 psi without a boost reference and watch fuel as you up the boost. You can install a vacuum check valve and boost reference to...
It was way too loud and no tone really with Longtubes. Just loud. I couldn't hear the blower at all. My guess is it was mostly the MBRP mufflers. It sounds very good on stock mufflers and cat deletes. I don't really feel a power loss. I would have to dyno it to see because I cant feel it.
This car has every upgrade you need. I have sold all my prior projects and never had an issue! I can give the names of the previous projects new owners as a reference. I still occasional communicate with them all.
2018 Base GT with A10 3.15 gears with 2300 miles $43500
We are on to our next project, This car is in 100% perfect shape!! Absolutely zero issues!! The car is tuned on E85 and runs perfectly. The tune is very good and drives great on the street. Have dyno that shows 920. I am on a...
Procharged auto car is fine with what you have. Even the axles are overkill for your power level. Pushing it as in running at the track? Any track times.
I am betting on 9.30 or better at 148+. It is very fast. I am more impressed than I thought I would be with the power.
My last s550 was an 8 second car. This feels every bit as fast. Pulls just as hard up top.
