The 18 outperforms the 15-17 at every point on the graph. The 15-17 has more hp tq in the low range the 18 probably wont feel much different maybe sluggish when just daily driving from looking at the graphs?! Unless you wind it up on the street.
PP2 is an 18 only option that does not add any horsepower. Unique magneride tuning, spoiler, front splitter, wider wheels, better tires.According to these numbers if you don't want to spend the extra on an 18, a 17 with PP2 will perform equally well.
lol I'll take some of what you're smokingThe 15-17 has more hp tq in the low range the 18 probably wont feel much different maybe sluggish when just daily driving from looking at the graphs?! Unless you wind it up on the street.
Was the 15 dyno on 93?The 18 outperforms the 15-17 at every point on the graph.

Agreed. Said comment makes absolutely zero sense. I wish my GT350 had a curve shape like either of these cars instead of that silly TIVCT kicked in yo malarkey.lol I'll take some of what you're smoking
I understand the correction Bill, was just providing the info because it was brought up even though largely irrelevantThat is why both are SAE corrected. My 2018 made 435 uncorrected that day but I didn't post that since it wouldn't be consistent with others.
Pretty impressive.Ummm...
Here's all the things they did:
Displacement is up over 5.0L instead of just under 5.0L (slightly larger bore)
Added direct injection in addition to the port fuel injection, allows for power power and...
12:1 compression vs. 11:1
Different cams
Spray bore cylinder liners like the GT350 and previous GT500
No, they didn't just add PP2. A Ford PP2, just like what Lund, VMP, AED, Livernois, etc. will get even more on top of the gains the '18 has over the 15-17.
Yup, doesn't add up ...So the 18 is making 34hp more and 37tq more at the wheels than the 15. Somehow the 18 is showing 9hp and 17tq more than it should be ...
Me too. The power band of the GT350 is great for the track, but for street driving I bet the 18 GT's power band feels better and is more usable.Agreed. Said comment makes absolutely zero sense.
