Vaughn Gittin Jr. and the 550-horsepower 5.0L Aluminator-engined 2016 Mustang RTR takes on Daigo Saito and his 650-horsepower NA 6.2L V12 Drift Lamborghini Murcielago, converted from AWD to RWD by Liberty Walk and Phat Five Racing.

In an battle between these two drift legends, the production value alone makes this a worthy watch, set against the backdrop of the abandoned Niigata Russian Village in Niigata, Japan.

Just watched it and wow that was pretty awesome. Agree, not much room for error there!

And definitely agree about the production, which was superb.

Big fan of VGJR's work. Amazing at what he does. But, it did look like the lambo was holding the drift better. I'm sure being in front is easier than behind and trying not to hit the guy. Not at all talking trash on VGJR - he's one of the best in the world. But... that lambo!

Yeah I think the power of the Lambo had something to do with that because it has more power to break the tires loose and still go faster speeds than the Mustang. If you watch, VGJr wasn't getting the same angle as the other guy either so he could keep up easier.

great work by both drivers. if you watch any drift chase scenario the guy behind is always not at as great of an angle as the person they are chasing.
loved the green lights at night in VG car.
