I've tried looking before but couldn't find the spring rates for the BC's. Can you tell me what they are or link me to them?
As far as tires, I think I'll go with the Federal 595 RS RR's for the first attempt at a sticky tire while I learn and develop then jump to the RE7's later on. They are...
Alright, I'll take things into consideration. Thank you. Any other insights into mods later on down the road like bushings or any extra bracing aside from the front?
Well I will probably stick to some type of coilover setup if I even change the shocks and springs out rather than just the springs but it won’t be any time soon. My buddy has mention ground control, eibach, kw and a few other really expensive brands but I don’t know what is truly worth looking...
Sounds like I should talk with BC and get their recommendation or see if they are willing to relinquish those charts. I could always increase the spring rate by adjusting the preload too though, right? If I need to go softer then I would need to replace the spring.
That's probably okay tread...
How would changing the spring make a guessing game? I've never paid attention to spring rates so I don't really know how it really changes the dynamics of the suspension as a whole other than firmer or softer..
What is PP bracing? I've heard of the others before but not that.
Makes sense...
I wouldn't have anyone to run against according to what I have seen from recent event attendees in Cam-C, most of the new muscle is currently in FS.
As far as the ride height, the car is no longer that low, my current tires wouldn't even allow the car to move if it were still that low. It's...
I started autocrossing my Performance Pack Ecoboost this summer and seem to have done pretty well starting in the novice class. The car is severely limited by tires which are currently 275/35/20 Sumitomo HTR-Z III's but it doesn't really matter since I'm just starting out. The car seems very...
The car has been aligned after every height adjustment, the photo is the current settings. Tire pressures have been set to 32 cold and the issue has remained regardless of tire pressure so far from what I have noticed.
Adding more toe sounds like it could be the solution but won't my tires...
Well that's good to hear I suppose... lol.
Rear camber is the best they can get it I suppose due to the drop I have on coilovers. Wheels are 20x10 all around, same offset but I have a 3mm spacer to clear the front brakes so in the end, the front offset is lower than the rear.
I'm on a...
I have been having issues with my car following grooves in the road, the groves could be very minimal and cause the whole car to shift to the side without warning. I know that wider tires can cause this issue but I know people have run 305's all around and never heard them complain about...
Can the black piece used for the reverse lock out with the Boomba logo be taken off in order to reuse the stock silver piece? I'm not sure if the stock silver piece can be take off or not but I'm assuming it can.
I did a resonator delete and it barely made any volume difference, There was virtually no difference when inside the car with the windows up or down. I recently installed MBRP's street exhaust though and it was exactly what I was looking for. Magnaflow's street set up is extremely close to it in...
The wheel is a cast wheel so I'm not sure that is possible seeing as the spokes are at the front of the lip rather than the back.. It would probably look a bit odd where the paint meets the polished metal even if it could be done.
If you're in Duluth, hit me up sometime. I do photos as well so if you ever want any other shots, let me know. I'm liking the progress so far, you've gone an interesting route.
My IG is in my sig.
