Installed some FRPP 2011/2012 GT500 mufflers today. It's pretty tight near the sway bar, but they fit nicely. Sound is subjective, I'll let you be the judge. X pipe resonator delete is also installed. No drone. Very quiet inside. I'm happy with them. Longtubes and catless X coming in the next few months.

Sold mine off my 2014 GT. Loved the sound on it. Well done.

Did you modify the hangers as well?

Hangers were modified. Basically the front one was heated and turned forward with a kink in it. It's not a direct swap by any means but any competent exhaust shop could do it if you wanted to bother with it.

That sounds good, and miss that sound from both my 12' GT and Boss 302.

Love the sound. Nice throaty rumble but not too loud. I had these on my 2011 GT and always enjoyed them.

Sounds and looks great. I run these on my 14 GT with a set of resonator delete GT500 OTA pipes. IMO, these are the biggest bang for your bucks, especially back when you could get them for a little over $300.

You can see what we did in these pics. For the front hanger, we just heated it with a torch and turned it straight. The kink kept it in the perfect spot.

Looks and sounds good man, these are a option for me when I plan to go catless later this year.

One of the best sounding exhausts for the S550. Well done.

This is awesome! I too had GT500's on my previous Mustang and have been wanting something just like them for my new car. I already have a resonator delete H-pipe so now I'm going to have to hunt down a cheap set of these and find someone who can weld them onto my car.
