Dang I was hoping to see mid 12 1/4's. I thought it would run better in the cool weather.still 12.8 is not bad at all.

Would a meth kit help? Iam thinking downpipe, meth and tune to start. Mid to low 12 consistently is what I want before turbo upgrade money is saved and kits are out.
I think the times are great, iam just surprised/disappointed at fueling issues so soon.

Did you try the track apps at the same time? Wondering how accurate the trap apps are.

Still new to turbo motors, but i was under the impression that colder air was better for FI motors and hotter air was bad. How come this isnt the case here?

Generally speaking it is better, so much so it added boost. My Cobra would make 16 when hot and during the winter it would hit 19 pounds on the Eaton.

Cold weather tuning a turbo direct injection engine can be tricky. Once that is nailed down you can pretty much rest assured of a safe year round tune. Are you running colder plugs? Any issues with blowout?

Some nice numbers you are putting down Mike!

Can the tune account for more fuel on the top end or do you have to have some fuel system mods?

Not yet, but I am going to switch to one heat range colder. I am bummed about the throttle closing on the run. I got this thing out of the hole pretty well, made 12.5 psi of boost. If it had stayed at WOT, I would have snagged a much better slip.

I will post a screen shot of the log showing actual throttle angle....

Mike
Did the prognosis change to throttle closing in addition to running lean?

I'm also curious about the limitations of the stock fuel system.

I thought it leaned out? This thing is a rocket! Good results.

It's not anywhere near at its limit. Certainly not at 12.80's. The Livernois Eco boost tune and slicks went 11.80's. Stock fuel system

Yeah but that didn't have 93 in it, some higher octane.
