Really! The Cobra Jets get ceramic bearings and turn 24000 rpm......
Hmmm...that might be the fastest full weight Whippled S550 I've heard of.This one makes over a 1000 to for the MPH and Weight. View attachment 111295
I'm not even that far in the loop lol.Could you elaborate on the difference in the experimental 2.9l whipple and the one they sold in all their kits?
This is just the regular 2.9 Whipple with the big TB.Was that with a off the shelf Whipple or this special new one?
Either way that's pretty impressive over the JT-B.
lol, I started reading that and was thinking Anthony may have been informed wrong. This is the same 2.9 that you get when you order one. It's not experimental.
It's definitely making big power. There should be one making 1200rwhp soon too.
Yeah, that's just what he was saying when I was up there. So i responded with an "Oh Cool"lol, I started reading that and was thinking Anthony may have been informed wrong.
We ended right at 1104 but in theory, its less than that. Once the converter locked in the power went down to around 1050 which really where the power is.
Setup is pretty easy.
Built Livernois sleeved block, some cams, All the fueling to help feed that power plant with E85, 6R80 and a suspension that will allow us to stay into the 8's.
Disappointed if truethe engine looked like it was sprayed also, judging by the way the car
reacted when it when WOT and the NX noid on the engine
Nice car none the less
lol that's an interesting statement "way the car reacted when it went WOT".the engine looked like it was sprayed also, judging by the way the car
reacted when it when WOT and the NX noid on the engine
Nice car none the less
Boost for boost the whipple should make more only because it moves more cfm not because it's more efficient then a centri. The whipple requires more power to turn.As of now we're not planning on doing that. However this Whipple is pretty badass. There's a couple other cars that are supposed to be getting this same setup.
I swapped my JT-B over to the 2.9 Whipple and I haven't looked back. Boost for boost the Whipple made 734/562 while the JT-B was 692/522. Big difference
Ive always heard that but I dont think I have ever seen anything that proves that. If you have a link to it I would love to read it.Boost for boost the whipple should make more only because it moves more cfm not because it's more efficient then a centri. The whipple requires more power to turn.
