I sure hope so. What I keep telling myself in an effort to keep my sanity while I endure the wait is that since the 16's aren't much different than the 15's, maybe it will be an easy transition as far as production goes so they start spittin um out quicker. Whatever helps me sleep at night.

So now that we know the 2016's are starting today (hopefully no changes); for those of us that have placed retail orders how can we find out when our car has been scheduled and assigned a VIN #? I have my order confirmation and DORA, PM Deysha and she has confirmed the order was accepted and in the system. Do we keep checking COTUS or do we have to get the info from our dealer? :frusty:

Dealer may contact you but you can keep in contact with Ford Service just in case. I would expect to hear much for a few weeks.

Ha, ha!! Tell me about it! My dealer e-mailed me on Saturday to tell me about the OTT racing stripes that I added... and then tells me he's going on vacation till the 21st August! Says there'll 'probably' be an update while he's away, and he'll be sure to update me when he returns! Agh!! It's like waiting for Christmas!
