Isn't their own version of the R the 1LE?
Would that be the V6 1LE, SS 1LE or ZL1 1LE? You can't swing a dead cat without hit a 1LE Camaro variant. As I've said forever, the 1LE is not a model or trim level, so just saying "1LE" does not signify anything.

If I wanted to trade my shelby in for a convertible would you go zl1 or gs/z06? Or am I missing something. thanks

I thought the 1LE was a trim level.
It is basically a track pack. Different suspension, gearing, wider wheels/tires, more aero and a ricer wing.
Just commented on a limited number that's all.

I like the ZL1, it is a beast car for sure.
I just can't get past the interior though. I don't like the interior much at all. Or that rear wing, but that can be fixed with the aftermarket.

It didn't start off looking like that. In the Instagram pics the splitter looks ok. Something might have happened, bashed a curb too hard perhaps. I've not seen the video, so I'm only speculating based in the IG pics.



I saw the episode. Seems like they didn't install it correctly. I could see the gap in some angle. And in the drag race, it was falling off.

Lol! Now we are trying to find ways to discredit the lap times?? Soumd like a bunch of Camero guys bitching here lol the ZL1 won as expected.

Its expected to be slower than the ZL1. Its not expected to have the same exact time a the SS 1LE though haha.

Just curious, does anyone know what are the published skid-pad figures for each vehicle? I don't recall seeing advertising for each where skid-pad figures are prominently marketed. My old C5 Z06 was a solid 1.03 from the factory, then after adding the Corvette Racing go fast T-1 racing suspension, I was probably closer to a 1.5, well at least I felt that way, but either way it was noticeably better at the track with better turn in, grip, and reduced body roll.

What would be interesting if anyone has gone beyond the factory specification for handling upgrades by adding sway bars, springs, etc., and A/B those cars at the track comparing those notes with the baseline of the factory suspension settings. It seems to me that the usual in your face curve hugging bragging rights are not being exalted by either GM or Ford.
