It's funny you use that as an example. If not for scummy companies like Ticketmaster buying up all the supply, maybe more Regular Joes could attend the World Series.
You are right, it was a 2007 model - but deliveries started in '06. That's when I bought my GTO. Some dealers wanted $25k over. So I didn't even try the "call everyone under the sun" method. I was on my 4th SVT in a row already and completely priced out of the market, so I went GM that round.
Sorry to hear about your car. As many have said in this thread, texting, or rather, a distracted driver is a common problem. A lady hit me in the same fashion last year while I was stopped at a light, nothing I could do about it. Sucks to take care of a car so well that you constantly get...
I get you, but buying my 2017 two weeks ago, my dealer pulled up that PDF and refused to sell me a warranty. So this confusion could be better put to rest by Ford.
I live in the Dallas area and most dealers here were still wanting ADM when I started calling around in April. I told myself it was MSRP or nothing, because screw that noise. The dealer I have bought my last four Fords from wouldn't do sticker, so I called around, gradually moving my radius...
I'd like to follow this as well - I bought a warranty through Flood Ford and it supposedly went in with no issues. Don't want to find out 3 years from now I have been had.
I don't run one, as the current legal opinion is that anything that interferes with a "design element" of the plate, even if the tag number is not obscured, is probable cause for a stop by police.
Were you thinking about bringing it up to Plano to NTXClearBra? Nate there wrapped my new '17 yesterday and he mentioned a car with a cut stripe but that you were too far away...
Hi Deysha! It in fact was delivered to the dealer today. Tomorrow is the day I bring her home.

Mine says 1 Days Until Delivery. I know it was given to the shipper from the rail yard 6 days ago. The dealer is only 50 miles from the rail yard.
C'mon, truck driver, hurry it up! :)
My local dealer was buying up all the SVT Lightnings from around the country in 2003-2004. They had 30 in stock at one point. Amazing to see, but yea, it really limits the ability to get a deal on one. (I still did.)
