Did you register just to say that? I find that hard to believe unless car had history (miles, damage in transport) or it was convenience pack.
lol. I belong to other forums and yeah joined to say that. I've seen a lot of people paying so much over that I was sharing what I did. Guess it offended you.

I'm a little confused of what the convenience pack has to do with it but it does have it.

You can always call the dealership. Miracle Ford in Tennessee. I'm sure they'd love to tell you.

I posted a link in the other thread to a 16 tech pack in IN that was listed below MSRP. It does happen. Find one out in a rural area and do your homework.

Ok...

You made it sound like you got a 2017 2k under. Tech packs are really not that difficult to get under sticker. People have been reporting under sticker deals since August. Dealers cannot move those cars.
He clearly has 16 tech listed as his drive.
In his first post on this thread......

In my purchase travels, I found no difference in prices between 17 cars,
while electronics packs are not as prevalent, and most on this site prefer
the Recaros w electronics packs, many buyers are interested in the sofa
seat cars, like I was, in particular buyers not necessarily on this site.

16 tech cars are sitting, being discounted, and basically languishing on the
lots. In my opinion 16 tech cars s/b $2/3K under, and 17 cars are a decent
buy for msrp. As winter reaches us, even in high adm areas, (coasts) I
expect prices will drop a few K on all of them, and under msrp 17 will
become more common.

There is no stigma on the 17 convenience cars, not like 16 tech cars.
Currently there is less inventory of Recaro cars, but I did not see that
affect price in my experience.

While 16 tech cars for $56K are nice, and perfectly fine, in particular if you never track,
I am of the opinion that stretching an extra $4K for a 17 sofa seat is a better buy,
so many improvements that will pay back more than the difference
down the road, and easier resale.

It's funny you use that as an example. If not for scummy companies like Ticketmaster buying up all the supply, maybe more Regular Joes could attend the World Series.

Ticketmaster is the the ticketing service, most tickets are bought by resellers (ie greedy scum bags). Some people do it as a full time job now. Some of the teams themselves are also the same way if they have dynamic pricing when selling directly to the public

Such is life . . . . . The ballparks will be filled to the hilt, and all the Shelby's will be sold. You just need to go out and find your own deal.

ADM thread has reared its ugly head. Change the name to the resentment thread, can't believe I'm reading and responding this damn thing. Capitalism
is the reason we can afford these type of vehicles and they are available to us
just remember "The Road to Serfdom" is paved with great intentions.

My post is mosty tongue in cheek. Joking using the ADM's in comparison. When I had my Indy colts season tickets I'd sell when the Pat's came to town. Selling just that game tickets paid for the rest of the season for me. Good lord the money I got for the Payton brothers playing each other!!!

First post - just bought a lightning blue '17 with black roof and convenience pack at MSRP with no fees. Dealer posted it on eBay and was just the configuration I was looking for. Couldn't say no. Time to clean up and list the 335i!

Been quite a few years since I read it so correct me if I'm wrong but Hayek's treatise was against central planning of society and the dangers of socialism, totalitarianism, and Nazism as opposed to free and HONEST individuals interacting with each other to hopefully create a better society. Think it's a stretch to use his book to support screwing people over with high ADMs. In fact I would argue that the misuse of freedom fosters the resentment/environment to create exactly what he was opposed to.
