Grabber Blue vs. Lightning Blue

After owning a white GT500 and Roush RS3, I decided my next GT350 would be blue, but which blue? Luckily, my local dealer had both the Lightning Blue and Grabber Blue in stock. I took these with the exact same White Balance and settings so it can be as accurate as possible, and I used natural lighting from the showroom. The Lightning Blue reminds me of Sonic Blue without the purple tint, Grabber Blue, from far away yells "look at me", but up close, its very beautiful. Before walking in, my wife and I was leaning towards Lightning Blue, but we both agreed Grabber Blue is better.

My wife said "look, its $60K, not bad", I said "look at the sticker on your right...$101K" lol. Here is part of my conversation with the salesman as he tried really hard to sale me the Shelby.

me: "I wished they had Competition Orange"
Salesman "I can special order that for you and have it here in a week"

me: "I noticed the Lightning Blue is missing the front lip"
Salesman "Lightning Blue don't come with the front lip, you have to special order that.

me talking to my wife "check out the brakes on the Shelby"
Salesman "if you like, we can also special order Brembo Brakes for you"

Salesman "everyday, the price goes up by a $1,000. If you want it, I can have you drive it out today".
Me "Thanks for your time, if you don't mind, I would like to just look at them"

Looks like they fixed the rear bumper cover fitment issue on the 2017's. I've seen a few 2017 pictures and they all look good, so far.

Grabber Blue with a Black painted roof (nothing else) would have been my choice for 2017.

Prefer a front lip. It's a pretty low car.

Beautiful either way though.

And damn, it's so easy to be a salesman, why are so many, so bad.

These two blues are great! Can't go wrong with either or.... just pick one or the other. That's it.

My recommendation is spot on 100%. ;)

I thought I would prefer the Lightning Blue based on all the other pictures I've seen but I must say that grabber blue with black stripes looks fantastic. The Grabber would be my choice for sure. As long as you get it with the upgraded brakes then you should definitely choose the one that comes with the front lip ;)

Do you know how long the Lightning Blue has been at the dealer? I contacted them back in June about an LB they had. ADM was $40K, but they offered me a great sale price of only $25K ADM Wondering if it's the same one?

Lightning Blue with white stripes is pretty fantastic, IMO.

Like the grabber, but love the lightning! If the grabber was a mattalic and a touch darker, i would go for it. Something like a guardsman or a B5 blue.

With the amount of 350s there you should be able to drive off at MSRP.
