I hear that! I wished they do what dreamgiveaway do, paid the taxes for you. People that entered these giveaways do it for one reason, they are car people and dreamed of having sit in their garage. But you can't complained about $30K after taxes, but I rather have the Shelby. Its like the time...
But with the "cash option", nothing comes out of your pocket, the tax is deducted from your cash option. With the car, YOU have to write a check to the IRS before they can released the car.
People need to read the fine print. 25% tax withholding before they delivered the car, means you better have about $18,000 to give to the IRS before you can even hear the Vodoo roared, and this is before all the other taxes/docs you paid. This is the reason why the winner of the last 350R took...
When I had my RS3, never had any problems with warranty issues with Roush or my dealer. Roush had a recall on the welding on the exhaust hook, they called me, told me the part is at the dealer, took about 1hr and I was back on the road. One of my shocks was leaking slowly (i track my car a lot)...
Why do people feel the need to have a pissing contest all the time?
If you don't agreed with someone's post, there are several options.
1.There's over 1000 threads on this forum, pick one and move on.
2.If you disagreed with a post, you can countered with facts, evidence,
or your opinion...
I think they will, the raffle is 3 1/2 months old with another month to go, I think there is a push for it among other forums. Plus, they are a non-profit, their tax exempt and loses are different from profit companies.
Good to know and good luck with your charity and thanks for your effort. Hopefully we will meet in person, shake hands, and you hand me the keys.
:clap2:
At then end of the day people, its for charity. $20, $50, $100, that maybe not a lot of money, but it means a lot of people that needs help, and in the process, you may win a Shelby 350R.
Keep in mind, they sell tickets locally too. There's a local charity raffling off a Shelby GT350 and also a Cobra replica. They are at every car show, events, state fair, etc...they also sell nationally, so there's a good chance there will be a local winner.
JUST BOUGHT MY TICKETS!! May I make one suggestion if you want to sell more tickets. When Oprah gave everyone in the audience a brand new car, everyone was excited, but not a single person drove home in their new car, because you need to write a check for 25% of "Applicable Law" to the IRS. On...
Also try Harrold Ford. When the 2013 GT500 was introduced, ADM was seen all over the place. I got mine through the internet department, drove off with $1k off MSRP, a few members from the GT500 forum also got their GT500 from Harrold. I agreed with you on Future Ford, they had 2 Ford GTs...
100% agreed. I used to have a Sonic Blue Roush, the Sonic Blue is very close to LB, but like you said, indoor vs outdoor, the hue changes. I think any color on the GT350 screams race car.
After owning a white GT500 and Roush RS3, I decided my next GT350 would be blue, but which blue? Luckily, my local dealer had both the Lightning Blue and Grabber Blue in stock. I took these with the exact same White Balance and settings so it can be as accurate as possible, and I used natural...
You walking into the dealership raising hell won't do much. Contact your local media and watch how the dealer scrambled. A friend bought a Vert. Mustang, like you, she noticed some repairs was done. She tried several times dealing with the GM, they kept brushing her off. I told her to contact...
Speaking from personal experience, when it comes to replacing an engine, it could take a min. of 3months. Back in 1996, I bought a brand new E36 M3. With about 3000 miles on the odometer, I pulled onto the freeway ramp, shifting from 2nd into3rd hear when I heard a pop, followed by smoke. There...
