  1. Another Copart 500

Very nice, the new wheels look great. How hard was the dash replacement? I've been wanting to do that for a while now.
  2. How Many Miles Boys and Girls

    5,781 miles on my 2020 GT500.
  3. Current Trade-In Value?

Excellent advice, and it mirrors my own thinking. I may be able to find an MSRP C8, but if I get hammered on the trade it really isn't MSRP is it? That was the whole point of this thread. FWIW, the dealership isn't willing to do MSRP at this point so it's moot anyways. My thanks to everyone...
  4. Current Trade-In Value?

Hi everyone. I'm thinking of trading my 2020 GT500 in on a C8 if I can get them down to msrp. It's looking possible at this point. At any rate, what do you think the current trade in on a base GT500 is? It's a base 2020 car with a little over 5K miles and is in great shape. Iconic Silver...
  5. Guess it's my lucky year with ford

Yeah. A buddy of mine has been looking at buying either a Bronco or a Wrangler. I tried hard to convince him to go with the Bronco, but in the end the allocation/ADM price gouging convinced him to go with the Wrangler. I can't say that I blame him. Ford is really alienating people with this...

No, mine is silver with black stripes.
  7. Ceramic coating is 🔥

I'm in Crestview, work on Eglin.
  8. Ceramic coating is 🔥

Very nice! I'm surprised to see people local to me here.
  9. How to remove strips?

I used a hair dryer to pull the stripes on my GT350. Worked like a champ, they pulled right off with no issues. Did not leave a pattern.
  10. New here and to the GT500

Sorry to hear this. I'd be sick about it. I hope everything is repaired/replaced to your satisfaction. Best of luck!
  11. ADM on a Brittany Blue HE

Interesting to find a fellow Crestuckian here. FWIW, I am not a fan of Ford Crestview. ADMs on everything and no consideration of past relationships. I do not like them at all.
  12. 2023 GT500

Yeah. First they quit making cars for the US market and now they're trying to push us all into electric vehicles come hell or high water. I was in Europe (Italy, Germany, UK) for all of June and there were plenty of gas and diesel powered Ford cars everywhere. Why is it just the US that is...
  13. GT500 Track Attack - Impressions

Yes. Yes it is, Tomster. It is designed for n00bs. We can't all be an omniscient superman like yourself. At any rate, it was a very fun time and I really enjoyed it. As others have said, they treat you right, even if you're a nub with no idea what you're doing on a track. I highly...
  14. First Oil Change Done

Awesome, thanks! I think the remainder of my oil changes will be done by me at the base auto hobby shop.
  15. First Oil Change Done

At 2,600 miles on the odometer, I thought it was time for the 1st oil change. While the dealership had it they also did the brake pedal bracket recall. That was 4 hours sitting in the waiting room. Anyways, it's good to have this taken care of. The total out the door price for the oil change...
  16. Antimatter blue GT500

Yeah, it's too dark for me. It will show every swirl and bit of dirt.
  17. Ford’s Cold-Weather Testing at McKinley Climatic Laboratory Tour

I drive either a 2017 Edge Sport or a 2020 GT500, depending on the weather or my needs for the day. I'm in Crestview.
  18. Ceramic Coating Wheel Options

This is the CQuartz product I bought and used on my wheels. It's made for high temp surfaces and works very well IMO. Good luck in your search.
  19. Ford’s Cold-Weather Testing at McKinley Climatic Laboratory Tour

I thought this was interesting and that some of you would enjoy it. McKinley is located at Eglin AFB here in the Florida Panhandle. I work on Eglin and have run tests in the Climatic Lab in the past (a long time ago). It's an interesting facility with a large main hangar big enough to hold a...
