Is the pony badge metal? I think it would look better with a brushed/satin finish on darker colors and greys. I love the blackout look too though. Nice job!

Feels like plated plastic. I want the pony to almost disappear, so I went with black, but I kicked around the idea of gray.

i just sent this to my wife, who believes that my car will be 4 months old before i get the first 500 miles on it.

More plastidip.

I *Really* want the aftermarket guys, or Ford for that matter, to start selling the emblems (in matte and gloss black) or even the stock Pony and GT badges. Plastidip always makes me nervous about washing/waxing around it.

GT Badge done.

I started to clean the inside of the badge with detailing spray and a small rag tip.. ugh. ;) I need to wait for it to dry.

Be aware there is a slight gap and a bit of undercut on the GT, so you can slide tape or cardstock behind it, so I was able to mask it.
