:rant:Foiled again!!!Oh, sorry, not complaining.. My bad. Just saying I am used to checking it non-stop.Not meant to whine.
I took a close up of the fuel filler. I liked the 11's, the 15's is slightly improved (not sure if this version was on the 12, 13, & 14's.
Mileage has been 13.4 mpg average in the past week. Almost all city, almost all.. aggressive.
The door opens without a latch, but there is a spring-loaded piece that seals the opening that locks without the right shaped nozzle.Does the fuel door lock and have a release on floor/door at all? Doesn't look like it.
Looks easy for kids to mess with and drop what ever into tank without cap.
I assume it functions similarly to my BMW 135i. When the car is locked, you can't even open the gas cap door.Does the fuel door lock and have a release on floor/door at all? Doesn't look like it.

don't think so. Looks like the fusions. Which does not lock.I assume it functions similarly to my BMW 135i. When the car is locked, you can't even open the gas cap door.
Well now I'm sad.don't think so. Looks like the fusions. Which does not lock.
Interested as well.Zombie how does it work? I see that it has two filler caps for fuel nozzle, I'm asking about the fuel door if locks or not?
that's weird.... what's preventing people from stealing your gasoline? or fucking with your engine? (I know someone who had their gas tank filled with milk from some asshole).I don't think so. The User Manual makes no reference to a latch. The fueling instructions simply states 'open the fuel door', no latch, no button, no lock. Just, open the door.
edit: I kinda hope I'm wrong, but... All it takes is a screw driver to open the door anyhow. I've had that done before and chipped the paint in the process and that was while it was sitting in my driveway.
