I had a few people ask for these so I added them to the store. I also made a new one before I had it die cut. The "High Speed" version. :)

The vinyl is a dark red.. like blood (the color is called cranberry though lol). The pic makes it look brighter than it is.
Cranberry...Zombie...hmmmm

I love the color, and it gets quite a few compliments. :)
Nice!

Well I pulled the trigger on the Guard EcoBoost Premium w/ Black/Ceramic seats, Performance pack and upgraded Shaker system. I was amazed I got them to knock off $785 on the price considering I had to order it!

So stoked... Can wait to join the "Guard Gang"

Cool, I don't think you'll regret it. I like the color more each day I see it.

Weird how the color changes with lighting. Picked mine up about 4 pm, someone had written "light grey" on the key fob thingy. After dusk & under parking lot lights I figured out how they could have made the mistake.

Anyway - HELP - how do you keep a spare key with you with the newfangled 3 pound smart key setup?

Only thing I don't like about my car, but haven't searched for juices leaking in the trunk yet.

OK, stock exhaust sounds like nuns farting in the bath, two things I guess.

Ever figure out anything with jack stands & your basic universal jack?

Will ask dealers mechanic today if I get a chance.

I haven't, not yet at least. Let us know what you find. It looks like the same locations as previous models (see 262 and 263 of the owner's manual), but the drawings aren't that great.

There is a mini key in the keyfob, and there is a way to unlock without battery power (sliding the handle backm etc.)

See page 46 of the owners manual.

)
Was thinking about what to do when massively stupid happens. You lock the key in your trunk, or loose it or find a way to break it.

Before "improvements" I always just had a spare flat key made for about $3.52 and slid it in my wallet.

I guess with the new - big enough to look like you are growing a second appendage when it is in your pocket - key I can do something like.
1. Carry a 'dead battery' key in my wallet.
2. Remove battery from the spare 'new & improved 2nd appendage sized' key.
3. Hide 2nd mongo key somewhere in vehicle with battery removed.

Or.... Stop wearing skinny jeans or leggings and keep it in your pocket. :D

Seriously though, I do agree that they made the size of the key too bulky. The key for my C7 (same as the C6) is 1/2 as thick, but a little wider and has an easy to remove physical key. Have you tried to open the key for the S550 yet? I can't seem to do it with fat fingers. ;)

Very nice. I'm going to be very interested in how they look mounted up and the offsets of the wheels. Lots of wheels I've seen end up with the offset sticking out too far trying to be too flush to the fender.

Please post pics when they are mounted showing how far they stick out in relation to the fenders.

Not sure when they will be mounted.. trying to decide if I am keeping the snows on the stocks. :headbonk:

Ah...

Oh, by the way, earlier we were discussing the locking gas door issue and the plug for the easyfill..

Just FYI, I bought one of the plugs Ford sells and it does not fit the 2015. The plug is too large to fit in the mouth of the filler tube.
