Wish I could hear mine, just trying to find a shop I can both trust and afford to do a full install with 5 channel amp and new separates up front. I found a reputable shop, but they sell JL audio amps, which is great, but do I really need a $550 amp? The the $200 Rockford one a total POS? It's gonna cost a ton at that shop. The install prices don't scare me, but $550 for an amp? I don't like spending that much on ONE component. Amps can die on you at any time. I don't care what brand they are.

With audio you usually get what you pay for. I've owned 3 separate JL amps over the years and never had a fault or failure. I've owned other brands as well, and the cheaper ones never seemed to hold up as long without issues. You're not just paying for the name, but also the reputation.

I remember back in the day in the late 80's early 90's when people were all about Punch amps. Those amps all died eventually. They all said never heard of Hifonics, must be an off brand. Mine never died. Still have it and they command big bucks on eBay today. Maybe I should sell it. But it's old, who knows if it works or not. Everyone back then was impressed by my amp. It has been in THREE cars!

Rockford P3 12 is a real tight fit. I was able to shimmy the speakers in, but unfortunately the decorative trim rings will have to sit this one out.

That's too bad, but it still looks great!

Fits well, sounds great. For some reason I ordered black carpet, don't ask me why. They adjusted the volume from 0.87 to 1.25 ft3 for free. I ordered it Sunday night, got the box Wednesday!

Now I just need to figure out what to do with the factory sub and the holes in the carpet behind it.

Dibs on factory enclosure, if the price is right.

My elcheapo from Norton's has been going strong for about 4 years now.

Talk to Levittown, I bet they can get you the trunk trim panel.

In the process of hiding the wiring but figured I'd take photos before it gets dark. Decided on my amp layout like this for easier adjusting of the settings.

It's a rats nest right now.
Do you run the subs with the seats up or down? How does it sound with the seats up? Just curious as I'm looking at a front firing setup myself.
