Your thoughts on the v6 Mustang

To be fair autos got a deserving bad rep for many years- slow, clunky, bad mpg, etc.

Not so much anymore as anyone can drive one and they are getting quicker than manual shifting. Most of the new 6-8 speed autos are much quicker than their manual counterparts equally equipped.

...and they still lack the driver involvement of a manual.

If standing on a pedal gives a particular driver long-term thrills, that's great, but I just don't get it, a few tenths quicker or not. Seems fine for a luxury ride, truck, or family sedan to me.

Appliance versus dance partner... I know what I want in a car...

Yes, ANYONE can drive one. That says a lot.

I traded in my 2015 mustang ecoboost for a 2016 mustang gt premium pp and couldn't be happier. The sound alone from that coyote gets me hard everytime.

I only dismiss sports cars and sports coupes with autos. No hate, just dismissal. Autos are proper in luxury sedans, pickups, family sedans, luxury coupes, minivans, and SUVs. But a pony car with an auto certainly does allow people to pretend/appear to be enthusiast drivers, and allows more cars to sell, so it's great for all of us.

The GT automatic is far more a chick car than either the 3.7 manual or 2.3 manual. Those who own one are still part of our Mustang family, but they're kinda like that annoying cross-dressing cousin we avoid at reunions.

There was this dude on youtube who talked hella shit about v6 mustangs....he claimed he had a 5.0 fox, i saw his page and it turned out he actually did, he was also like 16 years old and had an automatic. Called him out on it no mercy and he never responded.

Subaru is now offering their WRX with a CVT. And charging extra for that. And there is people that cannot decide whether to get that or the manual :lol:

Although the Autos will have the last laugh. Come repair time where you have to drop off your keys to the kid behind the service desk, we will wish we had an Auto. "Sir, your A/C is fixed, but your clutch needs work and it might have a bad synchronizer. :headbonk:

Guys who hate on autos are the ones who say 'blah blah driver engagement manuals are better' when they are staring at an auto's taillights. And yes, my car is a manual. Who gives a fuck what transmission other people have? I'm not going to get my panties in a wad because I like to row but someone else loves their automatic.
