Aviva have the GT now so I assume a bunch of other insurers may too. They want an additional £40 to add it to my multicar policy and by calculating this out over a year comes out at £370 with about £800 total excess and that's with 7 years NCB.

I think I can do better.

Consulted the meerkats...now 60 quotes...
Got a quote from Privilege for £168 with comp/vol excesses of 700/250. Next best was the AA at £249 with 350/250 excess.
Got rid of the voluntary excess for a laugh and Privilege came in exactly the same (:shrug and Sainsbury came in at just over £200 ()

Still have to broach the subject of mods though...

No way, is that deffiniately right? Do you have lots of years no claims bonus? I have always been a named driver with my dad as first, so never accumulated any NCB. I live in a fairly rural area too in Warwickshire. Unsure why my quotes have been so much.

I actually only have 1 years NCB at the minute.
