They cost roughly $53,000 here in the UK; $49,500 in Spain; $72,000 in Ireland; and get this, a whopping $125,000 in Holland! No, that's not a typo; ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND US DOLLARS for a V8 convertible.

Not to mention the $760 annual tax on the V8 we pay here in the UK; over in Ireland it's more like $2,000!!

The other Dutch shocker is that an Auto EB is $20,000 more than the manual EB.

Oh not to worry, see here in California I bought my 2015 GT for 36,000 USD. But there is this magical thing that happens that as soon as you sign that cost goes up to 46,000 USD. :headbonk:

17 is as young as it gets. Im 24 and tbh would find it harder to own a mustang if I was any younger. Only Admiral are willing to quote me on its insurance as im under 25 and even their quote is £4000! Another quote was from some company ive never heard of and they were £12000. Even Adrian flux wont quote me atm :(

Thats crazy! I'm only 22 and Admiral were quoting me £800 for the GT! I do live in the middle of nowhere though. Only benefit is I'm one of the stops of the NC500.

No way, is that deffiniately right? Do you have lots of years no claims bonus? I have always been a named driver with my dad as first, so never accumulated any NCB. I live in a fairly rural area too in Warwickshire. Unsure why my quotes have been so much.

Yeah, it's definitely right. I've got 5 years NCB. I'm pleasantly surprised by how low it is.
