Ob - Something's telling me that the vendors making these parts are going to wise up or are already in the process of bringing something out that's going to be compatible for the non-premium cars.

If I were in your shoes or anyone else that's crossing their fingers, don't jump off and buy a new bumper-cover just yet.

this and an adapter for an aftermarket radio!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

So just to be clear I won't need to take the whole rear bumper cover off?
no, you do not, however, be careful pulling the black trim piece off, I cracked mine in not one, but two places, luckily you can't really see it with the rtr diffuser in place

why would it be pulled? did you try to get a screw driver or a knife to get the tabs to open?

Excellent, writeup. Ended up using the instructions from the OP to install the GT350 valence. It made the job much easier and did not have to remove the bumper.

Thanks CompO5.sl0w

I see people recommending this a lot. Do members of this forum get some sort of discount if they speak to an American Muscle rep directly? I'm looking to buy a lot of items from them and am curious if I should do it over the phone instead of online due to reading this same recommendation in multiple threads.

Nice write up with pictures, I had to go a bit further and swap to a premium bumper so I could install the premium valance and RTR Diffuser. It took about 3 hours in the driveway.
