The Roush drone will fade as you put more miles on them. The 1st 500 miles were pretty bad. Now I have over 5,000 miles on them and sound great except for a little Drone at 1,800 -2,100 RPM.

The Muffler guys solution was to leave the x-pipe in and remove the Roush AB and install some flowmasters which have internal baffles, I decided to just have the stock resonator put back in today, much better! Still loud but well with in the range of acceptable IMHO. A little bit of drone about 2000-2100 rpm but its not too bad.

If I had to do it over again def. just the Roush AB's. If I was on a budget just the X-pipe. No way on both.

If anyone wants the X-pipe send me a PM and we can work something out, you will have to get some welding done at a muffler shop just FYI.

I will try to get some sound clips up today or the next before I go out of town.
I would def be interested for a decent price.. pm me

The X-pipe is SPF, if it falls though I will send a PM to those who expressed interest in order. Should know for sure by the 7th as I will be out of town until then.

Sale pending to richmo, next is in line is kodypiccirilli then V6_Mustang_2015

Please use PM's if you want to get in line so we don't clutter up the board.

So, I'm new, but I've learned that the catted x-pipes are a tad quieter with still a good amount of power. Not as strong as the O/R pipes, but still worth looking into if you want a resonator delete.

The real problem is no one makes an x-pipe for the V6 so you will need to have it custom made. I ended up putting the stock resonator back in because it was way to loud when I swapped out the stock mufflers to the Roush AB's. Boostedstang15 has a pretty good vid on youtube that shows the internals of the EB's stock resonator and mufflers. Though the V6 is a dual in dual out and pretty much a straight though design from what I saw when I looked down mine, also one side was a smaller diameter, not sure why? [ame]

He ended up putting a Borla 40670 in place of the resonator which is a single in dual out. I think if I was looking for more from the current set up I have now that the Borla 400492 Muffler which is dual in/out would work well in place of the stock resonator without being crazy loud like the X-pipe was with after market mufflers.

Hope that helps some.
