wtf EDD changed again

Got a call this morning, the car made it to the dealership last night. Got to sit in her, turn her on and check it out. Still needs PDI so I should get her in a couple of days.

I order retail 05/20 (GT Premium CO), EDD never change from 11/20, car built 10/28,
went Intransit 10/29. Yesterday when countdown clock show 1 day, I called FORDSERVICE to see if it was closing in on Las Vegas; they said that MI rail depot
rcvd it on 10/31 and it is STILL setting there (for 19 days and counting). Countdown
clock now show "0" days ------ woooooooope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered mine in June, built 10/1 and mine is still sitting. Ford service says it's still in limbo sitting complete. This is ridiculous

Edit: just got word there is a three week minimum wait on my car. So that means my car would have sat completed for 2.5 months. Beyond pissed about this

It's difficult to give an accurate EDD a month out. For the most part Ford knows how long it will take to go through the assembly line...barring commodities issues, which affected many orders. And then there's QC... And then there's shipping... weather... I find the more I check and the more forums I read, the more anxious and frustrated I get. But in the end I'd rather wait a little longer and have a product that is up to snuff.

Are you serious?? I ordered my GT on 6/23. There are some who ordered before me, and we're still waiting for ours to be built. :headbonk:

You are entitled to your opinion about your wait time vs. that of another, but keep in mind some people have a lower tolerance for BS than others.

Yea, this experience has pretty much solidified that I won't ever be ordering a car from Ford again...or maybe anyone, the same garbage is going on over on the Dodge forums about the 2015 Challengers and Hellcats.

Mines been sitting for a month now; both FordService and someone I know that works there have no idea why.

Cotus just updated. And moved my edd up for once instead of pushing it. Now its 12-2 which means this Tuesday I better get a phone call

Good luck!! COTUS pushed mine back another day to 12/11 the other day, while my dealer has confirmed it arrived in the Denver rail yard today, he said I should have it in my hands no later than Thursday. Yea COTUS, great job!!

Well after that update I called my dealer and he goes really ur car is coming that soon and goes to check the system. Once he checked he called me back to let me know that the car is in delaware right now and it should be in NY by end of the week or early next week. Thx for messing with my head again Cotus
