Does anyone know, if your priority is high (meaning between 1 and 10, mine is a 2) if it speeds up the shipment process at all? Or is priority simply the driver for your build date?

I have a Priority 10 and ordered on 2/2. I don't even have a VIN yet. As I understood it, it affects Production Order only.

See my signature for my progression. I was pri 19, with Xplan order (don't know if those are related). Small dealer also, and this was their first vert order of any type. Of course thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years were all in my time line. I've been told that priority affects build Sched time/in production (window sticker gen, and blend date/build date on sticker), but don't know for sure. All of the above gleaned from this site and my personal experience. Safe to say LOTS of factors on both sides of the curtain affect this. Best of luck!

I know priority can affect what date you get a VIN # & build date but I was thinking more about the after-production stuff. Will you make it onto a truck/train faster, etc.

Nope. After you get your build date. You are the same as anyone else and priority does not matter.
That's what I thought. Thanks.
