Didn't know where to put this post but...

This is driving me fucking insane... anyone had this shitfuckery? Any auto sparkies got any idea?

Windows up air cycled = no problem
Windows up air in from outside = won't run
Windows down air in from outside = no problem
Put Windows up while air in from outside = stall

Just one window up runs fine

If both the windows are up (regardless of air circulation thing) revs dip if you close the door...

Either window cracked no rev dip

All fuses and relays appear to be intact.

Can't run forscan whipple OS blocks it

Also worth adding... issue is intermittent and not guaranteed... only thing that is is the rev dip bs...

Yeah ground or harness short. Many grounds on this chassis can be bad as the chassis is painted at the ground termination. Detailed techs often sand down the chassis paint for any ground they remove before putting it back. Do this with all grounds on the RF strut tower and ground above the BCM in passenger kick panel and report back.

also seems very odd that you cannot connect to Forscan because of fhe whipple. I’d look further into that. Without access to DTC’s troubleshooting will be very difficult.

Don't matter, as long as the ring terminal isn't painted.

And if the retaining bolt is lose , what good what will it be .
Obviously tighten it, but I commented on the 'painted surface'.

So you did ,but all I stated was to check the grounds , with your paint comment that is not checking a ground .

not in all circumstances. I’ve had issues with a ground, tight bolt, which removing the paint resolved. The suggestion was form a 35yr ford tech.

Will try (passenger side is drivers side for me) I did notice a lot on unclear contact on the earth's and was thinking it might be related.

No harm in making them better 🤷‍♂️

Can still get to the DTC's without forscan, just can't use forscans fancy Montpelier system to pinpoint anything.
