I went for the silver wheels on my Black GT. I was regretting it for a good few months and thought I should have went black.

I picked my car up on Saturday and holy crap am I glad I went the silver. Combined with the chrome accents and white tail lights, they look god damn amazing on a Black GT.

I thought we were going to pay the $500 premium for black (which I happily would have spent).
Are you saying the black version of what are called the GT Performance Package wheels in the US are extra cost in Australia? In the US we have to pay hundreds more to upgrade the black to silver.

No I was saying I thought it would be the other way around (pay $500 to get the black)

In Australia currently a $500 option is to have the rims 'upgraded' to silver

Has the price come down? I swear when I ordered the salesman was telling me $1000, if it was $500 I would of went with the silver wheels.

Back when I ordered I thought I was told $500, I didn't pay a great deal of attention though. Also when I ordered I got the car for less than 60 for a MT GT

I got done for 64k AT GT, it was under the RRP so I went with it, they also took a chunk off the Ranger I was buying at the same time and threw window tint on it aswell.
