So I am driving at around 35 MPH and then all of a sudden my car starts shifting down like I am pushing on the gas and a Wrench icon pops up. "see owners manual" it starts to just shift randomly into different gears and I have no idea wtf is going on. I pull over and turn it off. start it back up and don't have any problems for a good 5 minutes. Starts doing it again and I stop and shut it off for a good 20 minutes. Start it back up and drive home and the issue doesn't happen again....

Does anyone have an idea what the hell is going on? I just scheduled my service for monday because my dealership is closed on sundays.

So I dropped it off on monday and they said that they would have it back to be worked on that day. Well I've called everyday since tuesday to see if they got an update on it. Tuesday he said that they had it back there working on it but didnt have any information and the guy that was working on it went home already.

Wednesday he said he didnt have any notes on it but i guess he forgot to ask the technician if he found anything and the same thing today. I am afraid they have put this on the back burner and theyre gonna eventually give it back to me and its going to keep doing it... If this keeps happening i can guarantee you that the transmission is going to be destroyed by what its doing. poping in nuetral and back to whatever gear it previously was in is really going to tear something up

Guess my PCM (powertrain control module) went out on my mustang. Dealership finally contacted me today after leaving a pretty nasty voicemail on the managers phone yesterday. Also getting the throttle body recall work done as well. Can't wait to get my mustang back lol
