I have two TINY TINY dimples on my hood that I doubt anyone but me could find. Literally maybe 1-2mm in diameter. Why I'm bothering asking is my mirror was hit by a car while I was parked, and the debris scattered onto my hood (dashcam shows it).
Now this was a few months ago. The insurance/repair shop already fixed the mirror and the paint on the mirror side, but no one saw any damage to the hood during in the intial scan, and it IS minor.
Now that I've spotted it, should I get the insurance/repair shop to fix it? Or will getting a new hood/repainting or whatever they do cause more problems anyway.
And I know they'll fix it because I had a similar situation before. Where I saw extra damage a few months later obviously from an accident and they fixed it after I pointed it out free of charge.
