I have a 2018 Whipple stage 2 mustang. I’m going with Lund for a custom tune and they said I have to wire the intercooler pump to a key on source. Whipple uses a relay with the imrc plug. Can anyone elaborate with details what I need to do to do this? I’ve read a couple posts where they mention it but I still don’t know the steps to do this.

pages 23 and 24 of the instructions literally identify exactly what you have to do.

That is already done. I already have the pump wired to what Whipple calls for. I need to switch it to a key on source for the Lund tune. The fuse that Whipple uses is not a key on source. Do I need to cut the imrc plug off and run the wires to a different fuse or what?

Get your trusty test light out and start probing fuses until you find one that is off when the car is off and on with key on

Isn't the source that Whipple has you wire to on the '18/'19s a keyed source?

Appears that's a Hot on Run circuit, Whipple likely uses that one to keep the pump from running on accessory power.

Fuse 38 is Hot with Key On Accessory Power ...

Do I just cut the fuse tap end off the wire that is in fuse 62 slot already that Whipple uses and put another fuse tap on the wire and tap fuse 38? Is that all that is needed?
