For what you have, whether it's Lund tuned or Whipple's tune, With the 72# injectors you don't need a BAP until you go down to a 3.5 pulley. And at that point you would also need the race gas, octane booster, or e85.

all the baps do the same thing, they are like an amp for your fuel pump

vortech, vmp, jms

all do a fine job

vortech is least expensive, you splice in 1 wire, takes about 10-15 minutes tops
vmp is plug and play, they add a connector inline to make it easier
jms is plug and play and uses a throttle switch if you want to use it to only boost pumps when it's needed, jms will hit 21v , most of the other hit 18

any should do fine, just a matter of what you want to spend

I watched the video of the jms one, the one showing all the electrical noise on the output. That seems odd, I would think they would put filtering capacitors in there to absorb those spikes. I'm assuming the spike was from the switching action of the mosfets or igbt's they used. I'd also bet that if you hooked the noisy unit up to an actual car electrical system that most or all of the spike would disappear. Car batteries have a pretty substantial smoothing effect on otherwise-noisy systems. If you want to see this up close and personal, get an oscilloscope and disconnect the battery of an older car while it's running, and look at the difference in noise with vs without the battery. I'm not saying the jms unit isn't superior, just that the amplitude of the noise in an actual automotive electrical system is likely pretty different than that of the test setup in the video.

I didnt want whipples calibration I'm getting Lund to tune my car plus I have headers with off road x pipe no cats kind will work his magic
Honestly, you should have stayed with Whipple's calibration. I have seen logs from both. You will be making around 50rwhp less and have less options.

Foulers work perfect for fixing the CEL with a catless Whipple setup. Not saying which way to go, just that there are several people using them. I myself am using Ken's tune. I dyno'd his an Whipple's back to back. His curve was much better, and put out more power, but more importantly it just drives much better. I may hit the track again tonight if it does not rain so I can log some more for Ken and really fine tune. I cannot speak for Lund's tune though. I know several people use his tune. Some love it, and some don't.

There was a 41rwhp difference between Lund and Ken's tunes on my car.

OP, search works pretty good.

How is whipple setting up a tune that can work well with no cats/ LT's but it's CARB approved?

You'll gain power with a good tuner over Whipple when adding parts like that.
