Hi all,

I use my Mustang as a DD and am pretty new to car up keeping. I heard the salt (It just snowed last week here) can be pretty harsh to my car, any advice on what I can do (that won't break my wallet haha) to prevent this?

Also plan to wash it again once it gets above freezing here, getting super antsy seeing all the snow and dirt residue on it.

Why not wash it now? I've been washing mine in 15-20 degree weather without hand-drying and haven't had any issues with doors freezing. Most car washes around here are open if it's warmer than 10 degrees or so. It hasn't been above freezing for a long time, and I couldn't wait that long to wash the salt off. I would make sure to do a good underbody wash to get all the salt off.
