I drove my new edge Cobra all seasons; snow or otherwise. Not a big deal here in Maryland. The '16 GT is a lot different. More power and torque out of the box, even with the mods I had on the Cobra. For example, I leave my office yesterday using the same route. It was plenty cold all day but when I left it was in the mid to upper 30s ambient - but no snow or precipitation. Didn't give it a thought. Went out turned right, gave it a bit of gas and the back end kicked out. That surprised me.

So when it was clear I tested the ABS; immediately locked and pulsed for at least a car length. This was just from the cold's effect on the asphalt. Never experienced that with the Cobra. Needless, this AM (temp was 13* ambient) I was very careful for those 40+ miles. Still on the summers; breaking out the winter car - 01 Prelude - this weekend.

I m one of the very first owners here, the car is a DD and been driven on ice snow every year, including ski trips! I m on my third winter with the Blizzak LM32's. They are ok tire but not really good on ice! The wear is ok too. Car has been a daily since 2014 October! As long as you have enough ground clearance, and turn slowly you will be fine! Cheers:cheers:

Well, tomorrow is going to be interesting. I'm picking my car up from the dealership but we have several inches of snow coming in tonight. No big deal....except we had a heat spike today - 63 degrees and it'll be dropping to 9 degrees over the next few hours. This will cause a flash freeze on the roads.

Time to see how good the Sottozero 3's really are!

They are good, been using them in Chicago the past week, always had great control including on some pure ice alleys... still have to worry about everyone else though. Saw another s550 yesterday driving around on his summer tires... was about 12 degrees, good luck to that guy

wrangler is way better than rangerover to be honest. My last car was a wrangler saharah, and i went through almost 3 foot snow without spinning even a sec. Worked like a plow truck lol

i think my jeep cam run the range rover over lol while I love the jeep for what it is top off, doors off, and like he said its a tank in the snow I was going 70 in 4wd in 4 inchs no issues. how ever the mustang holds a place in my heart. yes it wont be the best in winter or taking to dog to the park. but you can make it work .

anyways I want to hear more winter stories ! lol
