A couple times now my windows have locked up when it is very cold outside (below 20F). The motor is attempting to move the window but it will only move about 1/4" or less. This can be an issue not only for opening and closing the windows but also opening and closing the doors as it lowers the window slightly to get in and out of the window seals.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or taken the car to the dealership for it?

Well come to frameless windows. You gonna like them a lot in the winter.

You should bring it in to your Ford Dealer and get your window concern checked out, kevg73. Also, please PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number. I’ll loop in the customer service manager for your area if needed.

I'm taking it in tomorrow morning to get looked at, should be nice and cold so they should be able to witness the issue. If they have any solution I'll let you guys know.
