Love everything on your "Stang" but for me, I`m not a Fan of dark tint and I live where you certainly could use the heat reduction too.

That's what mine will look like when I'm done. Unfortunately, weather in SD hasn't been good enough to un-garage to get it tinted. Probably this Spring. You confirmed what I thought, tint won't impact the louvered windows as the paned glass is all that is needed to show it.

I plan to do 15% all around (I know it's illegal, but heck I don't have my front license plate on either). May consider 20% on door windows. My son wanted me to do 35% on windshield... I told him that is pushing it.

Just curious, what tint numbers did you use? I really like how it blended with the solid B pillar! When you have the correct lighting, your chrome surround and wheels are just going to pop!

50 front, 30 sides, 20 louvered and rear.

I definitely love how it blends too as the appearance of a solid window is one of my favorite features of those MY.

My last car I went a bit conservative because the previous car I went way too dark. I had 25% all the way around, and I know its light in the back but helped with visibility (previous was 10 I think). I did have the entire front windshield tinted though at 50%. This helped to keep a darker look inside the car with maintaining great visibility. 50% is barely noticeable, and does wonders to cut glare during nighttime driving. Only thing that sucks is finding someone to do it. And for those that say its not legal, if you keep a light tint you wont have any issues. The tool cops use to measure is too narrow to fit over your a-pillar and they cant measure the windshields percentage.

If and when my Convertible ever arrives, it will be 3M Color Stable 50 side and rear windows.

IDK If it's just the picture or not, but it seems like tinting the rear quarters makes the louvers less noticeable? is that the case in person?

I think in that it's about personal preference of appearance. I do think it makes it a tad less noticeable but only because you loose the obvious line through the clear part of the glass.

For me I actually loved the louvering of the glass (i always wanted louvers over my windows anyway louvering the glass was just a cool idea to me) but I hated that line and wished the could have sealed it more cleanly. To me the dark tinting takes that line away but also adds accent to the broken reflections to illustrate it being louvered.

I'll be washing my car today (yes christmas eve) even though it's over cast. I have little else to do anyway. Tomorrow should be sunny so hopefully I can get good pics then.

Did someone pull-up the Quarter Window Trim on the bottom?
Are the Quarter Tints on the outside?
