Are the chrome window surrounds removable??

In the UK we are being offered a 'custom pack' which offers all possible options along with some interior detailing, chrome window surrounds (not the rear lights) and nickel wheels. Many are considering the option but we don't know what the chrome looks like against the various colours apart from OW & DIP from the U.S. LE packages.
I'd like to know if the chrome window surrounds are removable as this would make the colour choice less of an issue?

I'm sure it is somehow but will have to be replaced with standard black.

Go look at any other model car in similar colors that has chrome DLO and you'll get an idea.

The chrome can be covered with 3-M Scotchcal Striping Tape #73093 L.G. Black, it looks factory...Then when ya grow tired of the look or wanna sell the car you tell the new owner about the chrome under the tape...Best of both worlds.

There appear to be tiny metal tabs on the Chrome that stick into the weather stripping, sort of like staples. I don't know if the whole package comes with the quarter window, like the one that was for sale, but I think the door Chrome is also clamped to the weather stripping with the rubber stuck on the sill. Not sure how they attach the top Chrome piece. Will have to look at the Manual when I get a chance.
