At least this thread is still relevant. Car looks great @Skye. Do you wear polarized sunglasses? That's the only issue I had with my tinted windshield. With some of mine I get a purplish halo around objects. Kind of reminds me of the 60's.

Ha. Thank You. Didn't realize it was that old. I'll look for that next time, draw on the oldest one. There are soo many threads, I always try to find something I can attach to.

I did 50% Ceramic on my windshield in my daily driver and 20% on the sides. I do agree the heat rejection is amazing and seing out is not a problem, even at night especially with good LED headlights. I didn't do tint on the windshield on my Mustang as it isn't a daily for me..

She looks sick, but elegant as well. That's a great car and a very nice photo. You captured the colors and the contrast really well.

There's an Orange (apologize on not knowing the different tints from the last few years) S550 nearby that looks similar in wheels, wing and tint. I've seen it twice and she looks great.

Actually, I remembered your comment on this topic. I did a little reading and was a bit concerned, but no issues. I have prescription glasses, short and long-range with different prescriptions and features.

I have not witnessed halo, color change or other effects.

When reading up on the topic, there are six or seven generations of tint, each having their own unique properties. Polarization is a valid concern. Radio signals, another.

Visually, I believe most shops have a demo. Mine had one on an exterior window with all the different VLTs lined up.

It could be a good idea for anyone with glasses, prescription or Sun to do a look-through beforehand.

have you gotten pulled over for it? Or any problems? I’m considering doing 50 windshield and I already got the 20 all around right now for my mustang I daily drive I’m just afraid it’ll be too dark and catch cops attention since I do have black interior. And i live in GA

No problems yet. I don't drive daily and the Police here are pretty laid back regarding tint. As long as you don't drive like a fool and draw attention it's not a problem for me so far.

I’m stuck on wether I should get 50 on my windshield or 70. I have 20 all around except the windshield but I do have a bar. And I daily my car for work. I am 19 and live in GA, I do want that heat rejection but I also do like the privacy which is why I consider 50 but I don’t know if it’ll catch attention easily lol.
