A couple weeks back when I went to go adjust a mirror, I noticed the mirror adjustment D-Pad sunk down into the bezel when I pressed it. It still worked, but naturally it bothered me.

I removed the bezel that houses the driver side window switches and mirror adjustment buttons only to find that the little support post that connects the switch housing to the bezel had previously been broken and super glued on by someone (Car was a CPO with 4k on it when I bought it).

I ordered a replacement off eBay that had been harvested from a wreck. I popped it in place and it broke in the exact same spot when I pushed the bezel back into place!

Does anyone know of a good solution to fix this? I'm guessing I'm going to have to just glue it back into place, but what is going to hold the plastic together without being brittle and not just snap as soon as I put the bezel back in place?

Pic Attached now.

I'll snap some when I get the chance. It's a terribly designed piece.. I was surprised there wasn't already a thread about this when I searched.

Use Gorilla Glue... that will certainly fix the issue permanently.

“Super Glue” is so 1942.....
