I have an SCT x3 tuner kicking around from my previous 2000 Mustang GT. Are there any compatibility issues with loading a tune for the S550 onto to this tuner?

The X3 won't work on a 2015. You'll need an X4 or Lund Racing nGauge.

Let us know if there's anything we can help you with.

Thanks, Jared

Ok, thanks for the quick response and will do.

I'm not planning on too many upgrades to the car yet (MBRP street exhaust not withstanding) so I may hold off on a new tuner for a bit. What are some of the realized gains on a basically stock setup (manual transmission)?

Intake and tuner are worth about 25-28rwhp. Our car with a Lund Racing custom tune and JLT intake made 26.7rwhp/24.93rwhp peak-to-peak gains over stock.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with in the meantime.

Thanks, Jared

We're located in West Palm Beach, FL and can provide you a spot on Lund Racing tune without needing the car on a dyno.

We offer Lund Racing's tunes on their new Lund Racing nGauge as well as the SCT x4's.

Here's some of the new power packages we put together with the new Lund Racing nGauge.

Everyone's telling me I need a pro tune to get actual proper gains on my car and a dyno instead of a remote tuner. PS the guys have gtrs and have spent 20k plus in mods on there cars

What applies to GTRs, does not necessarily apply to Mustangs.

I understand!! But wouldn't a actual dynotune net better gains since the car would be getting properly dialed in?

What exactly is "velocity stack entry"?

The main differences between the stock and aftermarket CAI are intake diameter, lower static pressure filter material, and revised intake location, correct?

That's not true at all. For a bolt-on car we can easily provide you with an excellent tune from Lund Racing without the car ever needing to be put on a dyno.

Lund Racing's level of experience with the S550 platform is greater than most of the local shops who dyno tune. It all boils down to who you think will provide you with a better calibration. Someone that's tuned hundreds of these cars or the local guy who has tuned less than a handful. There's no taking stabs at how to tune the car with us. We already know how. Where the local guy with minimal experience has no clue what to do about throttle, timing tables, torque management, clutch protection, advancetrac, ect. Why be their test mule?

Once you purchase the tune from us we will send you a link to the custom tune request form. You'll fill it out with all of your vehicles info and modifications. From that Lund Racing will build the file, email it to us at which point we'll load it onto the device before it ships.

Once you receive it you just load it into the vehicle and you're done. We offer free updates for additional bolt-ons and will also review datalogs for you if you would like us to.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, Jared

I been researching different tunes/tuners on the site, and I believe they have the ability to review real world data logs from your car. From this can further optimize the tune from a standard "upgraded" tune, similar to how a tuner using a dyno would.

**Edit** Yea what he said ^^
