X3 Tuner Info

So I just put some Stainless Works off road longtubes and a Borla S type on my car in conjunction with a JLT CAI. Went to install the new tunes from BAMA on my X3 tuner, only for it to fail to unlock the ECM. Short story long, I reset the tuner, updated it, reloaded the tunes, etc etc...Turns out the X3 is NOT compatible with the 2015+. Ive never seen any documentation of this anywhere at all, so I thought I would throw it up in here to have it in the archives for the next folks that have a problem.

Last time I heard, you need an X4 for the 2015-2017 models.

That is correct, I guess I should have included that in the first post...My bad.

If you look on Sctflash.com it doesnt list the x3 as a compatible device.
