Will metallic grill mesh affect the radar

I have active cruise control and therefore there is a radar just beside the lower grill (driver side).
What do you think - will this mesh if installed affect its performance?
Also I saw some detector on the driver side beside the upper grille. What is it? will it be affected by metallic grille?

I asked that same question on another thread where someone installed the billet style and he said it did not come with the logo/emblem. I'm guessing it is just for the photos but I'd love to hear someone confirm that the logo is either not there or is removable.
