Wifi and app questions.

What exactly can you use the wifi connection for? What apps are available? I upgraded my base '16 to MFT.

Ford did not design sync 3 with tethering capabilities. The wifi on our sync 3 unit is only to have the ability to automatically download updates from ford servers. If u want apps and the tether u need to either wait for a sync 3 hack or go with an aftermarket radio

I suppose I should have mentioned I have Sync 2. Sorry bout that.

if u have MFT, there is a wireless&internet option to act as a hotspot for up to 4 people, but ur cell phone has to be hooked up to work
