This might be the first, not sure though. Was at Sema this year.

I love that car but fact is the car is already a wide big car at least it is to what I am more used too. Making it even bigger and wider while I do love the looks just doesn't have the attraction is would if say the car was the size of RX-7 or M4 or GT3.

My 1990 M3 was a wide body version of the 325 and I had a wide body Corvette before they invented digital pictures.

I had this in 1981 turbo charged Lotus.

Would I love to own and drive this? Damn straight I would.

"Bolt-on" kits just look so cheap no matter the cost. Look at RocketBunny and Liberty Walk. Some people like them but all I see is disgusting, lazy, cheaping looking workmanship. Even the kit on that RTR...looks ugly and then it has standard bumpers that don't even contour to the kit. Quickest way to ruin a car. I love widebodies when done correctly, though. The ricer culture has ruined this look for me, as well as wheels eith a decent lip. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, I guess.
I think they can be pulled off properly with all of the necessary supporting mods. If the gear backs up the looks, it's really neat. Just between the people ITT, I was actually close to pulling the trigger on an 86 to build it all out and go ham on the bodykits. I wanted to basically copy Fatlace's RB V1:

I like it. Wouldn't care if someone thought it looked cheap as long as I enjoyed it.

I love the bolt on ones. They give the car a no frills, racing type vibe.

I've been bugging RTR constantly for a release date, but have been told every time that they are very close.

VG Jr's RTR is the only one I can recall seeing

As good as it looks in pictures, it's 1000x better in person

I hope they put this kit into regular production

Any idea as to brand, model and size of those wheels? Love the design but not the color.

They are HRE's

Very...very expensive, unless you go with their new FlowForm designs

Yeah, have fun paying 8-10k for a set of wheels. :( I wish they expanded their FlowForm design catalog.

So wide-body kits are now becoming available?...and I still can't find anyone who is making molded splash guards!
