I know people have different views on what is beautiful but I think the ingot silver is the best color you can get for the 2015 mustang! It shows the curves and muscle of the car and with tinted windows and black wheels it would be the perfect mustang!

Silver has just become so...common. Every third car on the road is silver, it would seem. To be fair, so is mine (see below). I think that's a big part of the reason.

At one point in time, I probably would have picked that first, but I think I've been cured of that. Also worth noting is that silver is an incredibly difficult color to have repaired. Getting the color matched and blended is very tricky, more so than most all other colors. OTOH, black is one of the easiest (even though it shows everything when dirty). Having been through getting paintwork done on my car, I'd personally stay away from silver in the future.

Totally agree. It's silver so maybe you won't see it from a mile away, but when it creeps up on people and they see it out of the corner of their eye, it hits them.

Since when has Ingot been underrated? It's in my top three along with DIB and Guard. The S550 has a lot of light capturing scallops in its flanks and rear-end, plus there are plenty of dark contrasting bits that create some proper contrast against Ingot's light shade. The thing just looks like a solid block of aluminum in this color.

It is very boring in my opinion of course. When you get a 430 hp car, go flashy or go home. This is SO milktoast. It says (about the owner) "Hey look at me I have NO personality." Not dark and edgy, not bright and fun, just nothingness squared.

70% of all passenger cars in North America are black, white, or silver/grey. People want something that stands out a bit more.

I understand. I love every color on this car. I just think the lines are perfect with silver and it's a badass sleeper color. The design jumps out for itself

That's a really nice shot, and highlights how much a good camera/photographer matters. So many of the photos littering this forum are crappy cell phone quality shots, often taken at bad angles and/or in poor lighting. It's a hard car to photograph anyway, but when you throw low quality cameras and unskilled photographers into the mix, it's no wonder so many people agree the car looks way better in person.

I know it comes with the territory, and I'm not trying to complain. It just makes me appreciate the truly good pictures when they do show up. This is one that anyone could appreciate, even if you don't like the color.

And that's also something I appreciate about silver. There are very very few pics I've seen where it looks off. Even with most crappie photos, it still looks right

The ignot shows off the lines of this car the best in my personal opinion....Im tempted to buy silver but its always struck me as boring. This car is amazing in ingot and anyone that picks silver is going to have an amazing ride...

Any picture I've seen that makes the windows look tinted on the ingot has made it look amazing. I think ingot looks good without a tint but with a tint its one amazing color.
